Massage Therapy

Regular massage is a wonderful way to care for your body and mind.

Massage therapy is a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and joints. Massaging these soft tissue areas on the body assists with alleviating discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stressors and chronic pain.

Our massage therapists are skilled at catering your massage experience to your body’s needs. By understanding what you’re looking to accomplish, your therapist can then pull from various massage types and incorporate elements of them to address your specific needs.

We offer the following massages

  • Deep Tissue Massage

A type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage but is performed with deeper pressure at a much slower pace.

  • Swedish

A widely used relaxation technique designed to release stress and muscle tension. Gentle to moderate pressure is applied in rhythmic broad sweeping strokes to calm the nervous system and increase circulation.

  • Myofascial Release

A therapy technique focused on pain from myofascial tissues (fascia) that surround your muscles and bones. This pressure is meant to release the restriction in the connective tissue so that you have a greater range of motion and less pain.
